Folder and drive support
Only add folders you control and have backed up. Cloud, network and removable-drive behavior is not yet verified.
What Sortwell can read
The public matrix of supported document, text, data and archive formats is not yet verified against a release build.
Current preview limits
Windows editions and builds
not yet verified. Exact supported Windows editions and build numbers have not yet been verified for the public preview.
Processor, memory, storage and GPU
not yet verified. Minimum hardware and local-model storage requirements have not yet been published.
OneDrive, network and removable drives
not yet verified. Downloaded files, Files On-Demand placeholders, NAS paths and external drives still require clean-build compatibility testing.
Encrypted files, archives and links
not yet verified. Password-protected files, archive content, symlinks and junctions still require clean-build testing.
Scan performance
not yet verified. Cold and warm scan timings at 1,000, 10,000 and 50,000 files have not yet been measured on named hardware.
Undo
limited. Undo is conditional and is not a backup. Keep a separate backup of important files before approving moves.
Local model requirements
Model download size, installed size, OCR packaging and GPU use are not yet verified for a public build.
